Shop: Outfit Corner. From Snazzy dress to comfy sweater

On the roundabout on a corner at the Vanderkindere tram stop, you will find Outfit Corner. It's a shop that the neighbourhood really needed, the owner Patrick Paris tells us. "A lot of young families have moved into the area recently, so the commercial options have to expand."

From a stylish handbag to ankle boots, you will leave Outfit Corner with an entirely new wardrobe, including accessories. A snazzy dress for a party or a comfortable sweater for an evening on the couch? They have it all. The target audience ranges from students to modern grandmothers.

And even fashion-forward pregnant women are enthusiastic about the oversized dresses. The current winter collection features a lot of lurex (gold, silver, or bronze metals), combined with beige and other autumn colours. In addition to essentials, there are also some more daring items that are see-through or have glitter, asymmetry, or frills.

This new place proves that Ukkel/Uccle is not only the place to be for shoppers who want to spend exorbitant amounts. Prices start at 20 euro and range up to around 120 euro. The clothes are displayed on racks that were made to measure from copper pipes. Combined with white chests of drawers, sansevierias on the walls, and floods of light pouring in through the many windows make this place seem very Scandinavian.

Of particular note are the incredibly comfortable Brussels "jeans" by the Noorden label and the broaches by Iconic that are shaped like chip bags or cacti. This is exactly the kind of place that active, urban women have been waiting for.
