A fresh cup of coffee or tea to go with a new book: many literature lovers consider it an essential combination. They include the managers of Sterling Bookshop in the heart of Brussels, since they have just announced their plans to open a coffee bar. The Sterling Café – which will offer “a wide, high-quality range of coffees, teas, cakes, quiches, and possibly some tasty weekly specials” – will be housed at the back of the shop near the stairs. Visitors can sit at a few tables, or upstairs in the slightly more spatial seating area. Construction will begin this week, and the managers hope to be able to serve their first cappuccinos and Earl Greys in a month. Undoubtedly to be continued in AGENDA’s Eat & Drink section!
