The Kunstenfestivaldesarts needs you!

The next edition of the Kunstenfestivaldesarts doesn’t get under way until 2 May, but behind the scenes the organisers are already working flat out. Right now, for Batucada, a production by the Brazilian Marcelo Evelin, the festival is looking for artists and volunteers between the ages of 18 and 90 who are willing to take part in a carnival-type parade through Brussels. Auditions will take place on 15 and 16 February at La Raffinerie in Molenbeek. If selected, you will have to make yourself available between 28 April and 21 May for workshops that will take place in the evening. The production itself will be presented on 22, 23, and 24 May in Brussels and on 28 and 29 May in Charleroi. For more information and the registration conditions, see
