In 2003, Peter Downsbrough’s artwork AND/MAAR, OP - AND /POUR, ET was installed on boulevard Emile Jacqmain. Today, the Brussels-based American artist and his multidisciplinary oeuvre are occupying the Botanique.
Artist Peter Downsbrough’s subtle changes to the Botanique
With a vocabulary that consists of black lines and letters, he introduces subtle changes to the space, changing our way of seeing and thinking. His approach to the space is not only to be found in his monumental work, but also in his books, models, photos, and videos. Parallel with the exhibition at the Botanique, Argos is screening a selection of ten short films.
