Berlin as the capital of the avant-garde in the Fine Arts Museum
This exhibition brings together exceptional material that reflect this vibrancy in painting, cinema, architecture, photography, and collage. The new world that these artists dreamed of has not yet come. Many of the questions they asked still haven’t been answered. That’s what drives the philosophical cabaret at the heart of this exhibition, whose programme includes new contemporary work.
