A double exhibition for two artists who share a passion for engraving and drawing and a similar taste for playful imaginary worlds, which always verge on the childlike.

Mathieu Van Assche’s monsters smile broadly, firstly to air their teeth but also, no doubt, to show that they are not mean. Though they are found in our squares and in front of our chip shops, they much prefer to picnic in the forest. Catherine Le Goff’s engravings on lino are very different. They have a great softness to them, featuring cats and gracefully dancing skeletons.
