'The Biggest Little Farm': their idealism is fundamentally tested

Over a period of eight years, John and Molly Chester transformed 81 hectares of barren land a stone’s throw from LA into a farm with an enormous diversity of fruit trees, crops, plants, animals, birds, game, and 9 billion micro-organisms.

Their idealism is fundamentally tested by predators, vermin, and forest fires. Exciting and relevant, but the downside is that the Chester’s prefer to wax sentimental about their dog than to discuss their philosophy. This rather glossy documentary leaves you unsatisfied.
