About last night? Last Night in Soho appears very seductive but the far-fetched screenplay lacks some gravity, as do the characters. As in his previous films, such as the Cornetto trilogy and the hit Baby Driver, director Edgar Wright is paying tribute to films he has enjoyed watching and counts on the pithy soundtrack for propulsion.

'Last Night in Soho': a glitter fairy tale becomes a nightmare
A young fashion designer mysteriously enters London of the Swinging Sixties and meets a stunning wannabe singer. Thomasin McKenzie (Leave No Trace) and Anya Taylor-Joy (The Queen's Gambit) look fantastic. The glitter fairy tale becomes a nightmare. Fun-for-a-night.
