'Morbius': anti-hero becomes villain (and fails to suprise us)

Spider-Man: No Way Home was the biggest cinema hit of the past two years by a mile. This Spider-Man spin-off will not be as successful. Like Venom, Morbius is completely based around a villain that Spider-Man once had to face. Anti-hero is perhaps a better term.

Doctor Michael Morbius wants to combat a rare blood disease. Following an experimental treatment, he has super powers and an uncontrollable blood lust. Lead actor Jared Leto likes to stand out. Director Espinosa is not very good at surprising.
