Blu Samu to appear twice on Brussels' stages this week

Having been taken in tow by Le 77 and Zwangere Guy, Salomé alias Blu Samu, who is originally from Antwerp, has literally and figuratively found a new home in the laid-back Brussels hip hop scene.

That is also the theme of “I Run”, the infectious and soulful coming of age track that she released this autumn. The young female MC has previously been a refreshing presence (and antidote for the excess of testosterone) at Niveau4. The project was launched by Couleur Café last year to bring together the cream of Belgian hip hop in an exclusive show without language barriers, and it is now being extended at the AB.
