We do wonder if God has heard his megahit “Gucci Gang” – with almost one billion views on YouTube and half as many streams on Spotify that is not unthinkable – in which the eighteen-year-old raps things like “My bitch love do cocaine, ooh (ooh) / I fuck a bitch, I forgot her name (brr, yuh).”
Lil Pump is the punky little cousin of the SoundCloud scene, after all, a generation of very young, completely tattooed, nihilist rappers who take Xanax, devour many a ho, and to whom hip hop is just a hedonistic party full of turn-ups.
