Did you miss the Seventies or did you just sleep through that decade? Don’t panic!
Canadian singer Andy Shauf takes the stage in Botanique
Andy Shauf, a Canadian singer-songwriter carved from sapling wood will whisk you away to the soft, baroque pop of the age of Harry Nilsson, Randy Newman, and the Carpenters. On his velvety debut The Party, he uses that era to offer a perceptive analysis of the hedonism and the heartbreak of his peers and their parties. At the end, the observer is left all alone with a glass of wine and that girl, Martha.
