It is an acerbic initiation fable, combining Greek tragedy and pop culture, poetry and spaghetti Western, in which two opposing families fail to understand one another, resulting in mutual self-destruction. Born out of collective improvisations, the text is written by Aleshea Harris, a teacher at CalArts and a rising star of the US performing arts scene.
