Take a group of third-year students, from every corner of the world, at the Superior School of Circus Arts (ESAC), mix with Le Cheptel Aleïkoum, a contemporary circus troupe noted for its imaginativeness and generosity, and you get Joue contre joue, a show that explores proximity and provocation, confidence and insolence.

In solo performances, in duos, and in larger formats, these young circus artists are out to show what they can do and really enjoy sharing their love of circus.

Their festive energy demonstrates, to anyone who may have doubted it, that the art of circus is being
