This convention is the place to be for elaborate cosplay. Fans dress up as their favourite superheroes, fantasy figures, and sci-fi legends for a day of games, comics, films, and TV series. Special guests include John Rhys-Davies, Gimli in The Lord of the Rings, Anthony Daniels, C-3PO in Star Wars, and Nichelle Nichols alias Uhura, that’s right, Captain Kirk’s short-skirted but brilliant translator and communications officer from the original Star Trek series.
