Toy Story 3 seemed to be the perfect conclusion to a trilogy, but the fourth instalment of the series about talking toys is likewise exhilarating, moving, enchanting, and warm.
Sheriff Woody rushes to the defence of Forky, a little guy made out of a plastic spork and some leftover bits and pieces. He thinks he is trash and does not understand anything about his existence.
The computer animation is so detailed, stylized, colourful, dynamic, credible, beautiful, and expressive that this film deserves great respect. Pixar again demonstrates its ambition to tell a timeless story about toys that stick right by us as we take on the world, whether we’re 7, 37, 67, or 97.
