Nathan Daems begins an inspired raga trip
“The group was already so much fun to play with and now we’re being joined by two more rascals,” the saxophonist enthused last summer about the second album that they had just recorded. Enriched with the improvisations of the French-Serbian pianist Bojan Z and the virtuoso Indian singer Sawani Mudgal, their blending of jazz and Indian classical music on Peace the New Jazz sounds even more authentic. Enthralling and passionate, the mystery remains intact.
