For over twenty years, Andsnes has been showing his art across the globe. Since his last stop in Brussels dates back almost two years, he’s decided to halt in Bozar once more.
Originally, he made a name for himself as an interpreter of the music of Edvard Grieg, that third well-known Norwegian export. But after almost 25 years on stage, he’s diversified. Don’t expect Lyric Pieces or Piano Concerto in A Minor, instead Andsnes links Bartók and Janáček’s 20th century modernism to German Romantic Schumann.
