Choreographer François Chaignaud and musician Nino Laisné come together in a unique show that combines baroque music, flamenco, and transvestite cabaret.

To the sound of the theorbo, the viola da gamba, the bandoneon, and the baroque guitar, the dancer plays three characters with conflicting identities. There’s a young girl disguised as a soldier, an unsettlingly androgynous San Miguel, and La Tarara, an outrageous figure from Andalusian folk song.
The arbiter of these gender metamorphoses is the spirit of Orlando, who makes the link between the reign of Elizabeth I and the contemporary world.
