Mhysa at Beursschouwburg: A queer black diva
he described her album debut fantasii, which was released last summer, as “an epic poem, like a Sreverse Dante’s Inferno”.
She is soon coming to BRDCST with the performance and sound art group SCRAAATCH, but at the Beursschouwburg, this self-proclaimed queer black diva will offer reflection from her own gut, on a bed of nails of experimental club rhythms, about how black women can persist in a world full of white prejudice.
