Terror alert remains at level 3

The terror alert remains at level 3, said Interior Minister Jan Jambon (N-VA) before the National Security Council met.

The news doesn't come as a surprise. The terror level has been at three for more than a year and so far there have been no incidents that justify a higher threat level. Since level 4 means that the threat of a terrorist action is imminent. Level 3 means that the threat is serious and probable.

The Security Council meets with government and security services for state-of-play talks.
