The design of the new North metro was approved. It runs between the North and Bordet station in Evere. A tunnel will have to be drilled first. The tunnel will be approximately 4.5 km long and include eight stations. One of them will be under the Vredesplein in Evere. The plans are enthusiastically being received there.
