The police station in Laken was pelted with molotov cocktails and stones. A small group of youths was behind it, apparently to avenge a police intervention on their friend which, on January 1st ended up with him getting his leg amputated after it was crushed by a police car during a chase. The PO has not yet made a direct link between the two events, but is investigating the matter.
