Rerum Novarum: 'More than thirty percent live in poverty in Brussels'

The Christian Labor Movement celebrates Rerum Novarum today. Rerum Novarum is a papal document written 124 years ago, calling for social justice. This year, the Brussels branch of the movement celebrated in Tervuren. Chairman Patrick Develtere pleads for a tax shift but does not rule out an increase in the VAT rate.
