Gay-friendly nursing homes already exist in The Netherlands, but now Brussels wants them too. At least, State Secretary Bianca Debaets (CD&V) does so. She has developed a gay-friendly label for nursing homes who are specifically open to LGBT couples. "It's tragic that some of the elderly have to get back in the closet."
