The terror alert level for the Brussels police stations has been heightened from 2 to 3. That was decided after house searches had been carried out last night in Brussel, Flemish Brabant and Luik. Two men have been arrested. They would have planned terrorist attacks on symbolic spots in Brussels, during the New Year's Eve celebrations. Only tomorrow will we know whether the fireworks will be cancelled.
