Muntpunt loans less books to more visitors: 'It's a holistic approach with a library and information campaigns'

Muntpunt, the Flemish library on Muntplein, had 607,000 visitors last year. That's 10% more than in 2014. The number of active members also increased by 17%, reaching 16,700 people. But these members borrowed less books, 23 per year, compared to 26 the previous year. The library attracts more and more visitors. After a drop, the number of members is increasing again.
