Works began today, on Franklin Rooseveltlaan in Brussels. The Region plans to renovate all sidewalks and create separate bike lanes by September 2018. This goes against the wishes of the city. Brussels Alderman Alain Courtois said that if necessary, he would lie down on the avenue. and the local shopkeepers aren't very happy to see more works on the avenue.
