The Alias team is committed to helping male and trans sex workers exercise their rights, especially in the areas of housing and healthcare. They also take to the streets two nights a week to observe what is happening in Brussels' nightlife. One sex worker said: "When I talk to a client, passers-by often say we are transvestites or gay. They insult me. They often hit me. Or they throw things, stones."
