'The Predator': mixture of action and comedy

In the 1980s, Arnold Schwarzenegger faced off against an alien with dreadlocks, an ugly mug, and the efficiency of a beast of prey: Predator

After a few disappointing sequels and mash-ups with Alien, Shane Black (Iron Man 3) has been brought in to save the day. He has returned to the brutality of the original without making a parody and he serves up a mixture of action and comedy. The only problem is that this unpretentious entertainment collapses as it goes on. The Predator is not likely to convert many people.
