On Wanderer, the Berlin-based singer-songwriter with German-Algerian roots evoked the epic natural beauty of a road trip that she took with her boyfriend across North America in a converted school bus.
Renamed Expedition Happiness, the documentary was unexpectedly screened in cinemas and her warm, melancholy voice won the hearts of the global Instagram community. The little nightingale, as her grandfather used to call her, has spread her wings.
