Who wasn’t dancing to the French house by Cassius, Modjo, and Daft Punk two decades ago? Parcels, five long-haired surfers from Australia who have shacked up together in Berlin, are rekindling the atmosphere of airy disco beats and shiny glitter balls.

With special thanks to... Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo from Daft Punk, who were able to get their paws on the single “Overnight”. The mercury rhythm guitars are immediately reminiscent of Nile Rodgers from Chic, while the falsettos recall innovators like Jungle. But Parcels is more varied, and they certainly know how a good groove should sound. We’re already limbering up our hips!
