Resto: La Fruitière

Above all a cheesemonger, La Fruitière offers a quality selection of Belgian artisanal cheeses, different types of Comté, Italian and English cheeses, and more, all introduced, fussed over, and explained by Véronique Socié, a producer of goat’s cheeses from the French Jura region.

For €11.50 per person, you can sample a platter of these excellent products (e.g. “hard”, “blue”, or “local cheeses”) or a choice of cold meats: pork rump, Coppa from Franche-Comté, Brési, or cooked ham. Everything is top quality; bread from Charli, craft beers from Brussels, and wines by the glass. For dessert, the Gruyère double cream (€6.50) with meringue is to die for.
