In the heart of Saint-Gilles, Kitchenette has become a fixture for local residents, pupils and working hungry people. But, owner Etienne Gillain explains, the neighbourhood used to look completely different. "We were one of the first atypical businesses here. And about six or seven years ago, more and more business started coming in. In the beginning I found that scary, but now I see that it is healthy competition."
