A former pilot and current Eurocontrol official, Massimo Bernacconi has always had a passion for flying. A passion that is also reflected in his partly autobiographical novel 'Elio e Anna'. But Brussels does not leave him indifferent either. "Blues music originated in the United States because there was a strong contrast. And here we can say that surrealism was born or adopted in Belgium because of this eclectic society and environment that makes you think and that stimulates your creativity."
