Mauricio Ruiz is a Mexican writer and journalist who has lived in the US, Norway and Belgium. He has written a number of books and novels. His new book is set in Mexico, Berlin and Brussels. "I'm not going to deny it, it rains quite often here and it's cloudy. But for me that's very good. It puts me in a certain mood, a reflective mood. And it makes me want to write."
