David Labi: 'I would recommend anyone to do some kind of exploration of your parents'

David Labi is a British citizen who currently lives in Brussels. He made a one-man show about his late father Marcello Labi, a Libyan Jew and Bergen-Belsen concentration camp survivor. "Before I moved to Brussels, I was in Berlin and I was having a bit of a moment of depression. I was thinking about the story of my father. Because at my age, he had had four children, a house with a swimming pool, and a business. Financial and business success, and then collapse."
