Flavio Rio is the alter ego of Italian Flavio Spampinato, who came to study at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels seven years ago. Now he makes songs with influences from jazz, alternative pop and soul. "I love performing live. I love the exchange with the audience and the musicians on stage. Especially when I wrote the music myself, I like to see how the musicians interpret it and react to it."
