"I think we are all searching for something. What am I looking for in my life? A reason to act, I mean, to do things, to believe in humanity, even if we are hearing a lot of bad things. And to share with people, to be curious about others."

"Sometimes it can be a bad thing to be too curious, because you can cause some problems if you ask too many questions, and you can lose yourself because you want to discover too many things. [...] “It depends, but I really like to do different things until it looks chaotic: when you think too many things at the same time and it feels like your brain is exploding.”

"The best for me is to dance, to sing, and to start playing ukulele, and breathe."

"When I write, I need to breathe, because I am anxious. I would like to write the truth, I want to touch people. [...] If you are thinking about what you want, what you really care about, what you would like to give to people, sometimes it takes up too much space in your brain, and you are not open-minded enough for creation. To be an artist means to be free in the mind. Sometimes you don't know what you are going to do until you read it afterwards. [...] Sometimes you think you're writing about something else but you're actually just looking into yourself."

Humans of Brussels
