“I met a Belgian girl at an arts festival in the States this summer. She works as a circus artist and I followed her to Brussels. Sadly, I haven’t seen her much since, so I won’t be staying for long. I’m thinking about going to Paris soon, but I’ll have to gather some money for my ticket first. From there, I’ll go to England, to stay with a friend of mine who is a country singer. I’ll join her for some of her concerts, and other than that I just go out with my guitar and my voice and hope for the best, because this is how I make my living. I don’t have much money, but I like it this way. Once I’ve gathered enough, I take off and go wherever life takes me. I’m not sure where I’ll end up after England, but I don’t want to worry about that too much.”
