Like many self-taught artists from the street art scene, Steve Locatelli has taken on different artistic challenges by alternating his compositions on city walls with his work in the studio.

Behind the eye sockets of street-artist Steve Locatelli
On canvas, his swirling flows of colour in bold brush strokes seem to hold even more energy. Skulls, beginnings, and the end of humanity and of every individual occupy a central place in his work. In acrylic paint, practically monochrome or in vibrant colours, using a brush or threads stretched across panels, the mystery concealed behind the eye sockets remains the same.
