'Les Chatouilles': less would have been more

As a child, Andréa Bescond was sexually abused by a neighbour. She vented her rage in a dance production and has now also made a film. Unfortunately, it falls short.

The peremptory tone allows for very little flexibility, some emotions come across in the wrong way. The therapy sessions are intended to be structuring elements and a source of humour. She also mocks the way her imagination colours her memories, which are also depicted. The film loses focus as a result. Less would have been more.
