New political scandal at Brussels NGO

After the organization for the homeless Samusocial, the NGO De Brusselse Keukens now seems to be at the centre of a scandal. The organization distributes meals to nursing homes, hospitals, schools and the administrative services of the Social Service Departments. Thirteen members of the bureau of the board of directors, all of them politicians, would have each received 19,500 euros gross per year. This is nearly 2,000 euros more than what Mayeur and Peraita collected at Samusocial. It is not clear why they were paid that much. The chair of the board is Hariche, the acting mayor of Brussels (PS).
