After the divorce of his parents, eleven-year-old Julien has to spend every other weekend with his father. He has always been a possessive brute, and this is only exacerbated by the pain of the divorce. Julien wants to protect his mother, but what can an eleven-year-old do against such a manipulator?
What’s more, he is not indifferent to his father’s sadness, however much he scares him. Prepare for ever-increasing, terrifyingly plausible and palpable tension, fear, and distress.
