'La dernière folie de Claire Darling': light, that's all there is to say

In the third film by Julie Bertuccelli (The tree, Depuis qu’Otar est parti...), Catherine Deneuve plays Claire Darling, a bourgeois woman who is convinced that she will not survive the night

She improvises an enormous garage sale to find new owners for all the things that she collected throughout her life. Objects with a past, a story, a soul. Stylistically, this is a polished film, and there is nothing wrong with the idea of broaching a weighty theme lightly and poetically. But on the other hand, that is pretty much all there is to say.
