The food at Le Pesage is just as impressive as its remarkable exterior and Lionel Jadot decor.
With dishes made to be shared, the menu is divided into starters, mains (slow-cooked in advance), sauces (gremolata, chimichurri, etc.), and sides.
The choice is vast and it’s all good, especially the sardine rillettes (€8), the wild mushrooms with an egg cooked at 63° C (€12), the rosemary-infused chicken marinated in paprika (€15), and the octopus with pimentón de la Vera (€19).
The sides, such as mousseline (€4) with spiced carrots, ginger, and dashi, are also excellent.
The wine list is original, featuring a dry, aromatic Seehof Riesling (€33).
